is an Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, and the Director of the Center of Hakka Studies in National Yunlin University, Taiwan. His research mostly focuses on building typology, design theory and methods, and Hakka studies.

Pan Yi Chieh

is a research analyst at Penang Institute who was born in Taiwan but now lives in Penang. She is proud to be nurtured by the two beautiful islands she regards as home.
